Ever dreamed of being able to flip a Crêpe like a professional, and master the skill of French Galette perfection? Join the Four Frogs Masterclass to learn how to make traditional French Crêpes and Galettes.
During this culinary experience, you will be educated on making from scratch the Galette dough with Four Frogs house-milled buckwheat flour, which is naturally gluten-free and filled with nutrients, as well as the Crêpe dough, to then cooking and filling them with the delicious cheeses and all the fresh ingredients.
ABOUT OUR EXPERT:
Guillaume has been working as the Head Chef at Four Frogs Circular Quay for 5 years. Before joining Four Frogs, he was working in restaurants in Bretagne, (France) the home of Galettes and French cider. Guillaume tips to make a good Crêpe: “The batter needs to be left overnight before use, so there is quite a bit of prep involved. We cook the Crêpes at 210 degrees, for less than a minute. The texture must be soft, and it’s important to add enough butter to ensure the best taste. It wouldn’t be French cooking without lots of butter!”

In true French tradition, Galettes are created using their own traditional recipe, but what makes them extra special is the naturally gluten-free and highly nutritious buckwheat flour used in its batter. It’s milled in-house using Australian buckwheat.
